Day Three

Today was my third day in Los Angeles, and although still not entirely on my own, the future of living out here is slightly frightening. Not only have never been this far away from my parents for this amount of time (which seems hard to believe), but I have never spent a summer exploring on my own. If you think about it, I haven't spent a "lazy summer" at least since I was 9, although most likely I hardly ever did. I have been contained on an island in New Hampshire, surrounded my kids my age with meals and activities supplied since 1999, so the idea of being completely on my own in a slightly foreign city is daunting. But exciting. It seems the more nervous I get, the more excited I get, as I slowly realize were exactly I am working. For my Lionsgate internship, I am working in the same building as EMI and next door to MTV Networks. For my casting agency internship, I am working on Hollywood & Vine, which is a very famous corner. I am working in the Taft Building, which was the first skyrise built in that area. Also, as I drive into work, I see the Hollywood sign, which is just surreal.

In Celebrity News: while I was eating lunch with my parents at the Grove these 2 little girls went up to the girl sitting behind my father and asked for her autograph. When she turned to the side I was pretty sure it was Megan Fox. I had look at her face earlier but didn't take too much notice, although my mom saw her and was pretty sure it was her. She is sooooo teeny tiny, I wasn't expecting it. So, my third day in LA and I've already seen one celebrity. Off to a good start!

Over my 2 1/2 months here I will continuously update my blog and write about my (hopefully interesting) experiences. This should be one interesting summer...
